Construction projects

A list of 2025 traffic calming locations will be posted by mid-summer 2025.

Temporary traffic calming measures are introduced on streets that are within 2 km/h of the traffic calming warrant threshold. They are consisted of in-road flexible sign and radar speed display signs (RSDS).

Projects currently in the design stages and planned to be implemented by the end of spring 2025:

  • Bloomfield Drive between Upper Middle Road and Westoak Trails Boulevard
  • Douglas Avenue between Spruce Street and Randall Street
  • Falling Green Drive over its entire length

  • Allan Street (Macdonald Road to Palmer Avenue) - asphalt speed cushions in 2020
  • Pinery Crescent (Arrowhead Road to Rockingham Drive) - concrete speed cushions in 2021
  • Linbrook Road (David Avenue to Chamberlain Lane/Morrison Heights Drive) - concrete speed cushions in 2021
  • Woodside Drive (Rebecca Street to Sedgewick Crescent) - concrete speed cushions in 2021
  • Nautical Boulevard (Fritillary Street to Admiral Drive) - temporary rubber speed cushions in 2021
  • Walker Street (at Tannery Park) - temporary rubber speed cushions in 2021
  • Nautical Boulevard – concrete speed cushions in 2023
