The Town of Oakville has updated its Fire Master Plan to ensure Oakville’s fire services meet the future needs of the growing community.
The plan will guide the delivery of fire protection and emergency services over the next ten years with a phased action plan including details of fire services administration, training, fire prevention and public education, fire suppression and emergency response, fire stations, apparatus and equipment, communications and community emergency planning.
Updated Fire Master Plan documents
Review the April 29, 2024, Council meeting agenda to review documents and reports presented to Council, including:
- Fire Master Plan and Community Risk Assessment
- Fire Master Plan Executive Summary
- Fire Master Plan Final Report
- Other appendices and by-laws
The town received public input through a virtual community information session held on Thursday, October 26, 2023. All input received helped shape the Fire Master Plan.
In conjunction with the Fire Master Plan, a Community Risk Assessment was also completed which assesses Oakville’s geography, demographics, critical infrastructure, hazards, response to public safety and more.
