Culture Studio Memberships

Culture Studio memberships at Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre are geared toward artists working without a technician on site. Members are expected to exhibit a good understanding of the materials, tools and processes required to practice safely. A technician will be present approximately 15 hours per week for consultation only. Instruction will not be provided.

Culture Studio memberships are available in the Ceramic or Woodworking Studios. Visit the Community Centres page for more information about the equipment in the Culture Studios.

  • Availability update: Culture Studio Memberships for the Ceramic Studio are currently at capacity and we are not accepting new members at this time.

To qualify for a Culture Studio membership, you must have completed the equivalent of two full-length programs followed by a one-time wood safety test ($25.52 plus tax).

If you have completed two courses, book a safety test by calling 905-815-5979.

Once the safety test is completed, culture memberships can be purchased in person at QEPCCC for $47 plus tax monthly.

Culture Members must book their drop-in time to reserve a spot in the studio. Spaces are limited and access is first-come, first-served.

The town is excited to offer a pre-registered supervised playground drop-in experience at select locations across Oakville during July and August.

Participants must purchase a one-time summer membership to access all 10 weekly drop-in programs, all summer long. Once the membership has been activated on the account, parents/guardians must pre-register for individual Super Playgrounds drop-ins (under Youth programs).

Residents will be able to register for these sessions seven days in advance, while it's six days in advance for non-residents.
