Recreation Facility Sponsorship and Advertising

Advertise at a town facility or sponsor a program or event and gain more visibility for your business.

Connecting communities

Our facilities play a valuable role in connecting communities. We welcome more than three million visitors to our recreation centres annually for lessons, camps, leagues, tournaments, events, and more! Advertising in our facilities is an excellent opportunity to help your business grow brand awareness and increase sales in the Oakville community. And it's an opportunity to give back.

Sponsorships, donations, and advertising revenue all help Oakville's Recreation and Culture department to deliver services and host special events for the community.

Community and Corporate Partnership program

The Community and Corporate Partnerships program forms partnerships between the Town of Oakville's Recreation and Culture department and community businesses and organizations. Essential services are funded through the town; however, sponsorships, donations and advertising revenues make it possible for the town to expand its programs, services and initiatives while reducing the need for tax increases or additional user fees.

Local businesses, organizations, service clubs, community groups and individuals can provide support through cash contributions, in-kind services, joint promotions, and/or product donations. Below is a list of some of the initiatives that the town has provided thanks to generous support from the community:

  • Fee assistance for children and youth to participate in recreational programs
  • Special events such as the Oakville Santa Claus Parade, Community Spirit Awards, and Family Day
  • Enhanced programming at the Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts, including some free and pay-what-you-can performances.

Naming opportunities are available for the interior spaces town-wide including ice surfaces, dressing rooms and multipurpose rooms.
