Council meeting previously scheduled on same date as federal election being moved to May 1, 2025

At the March 24, 2025, Council meeting, Oakville Town Council passed a motion to reschedule the April 28, 2025, Council meeting to May 1, 2025.
April 28 is the date of the upcoming federal election. This change in date helps ensure that Council Members and the public can participate in both the federal election and the Town Council meeting.
