On February 24, Town Council received an annual 2023-2026 Council Strategic Action Plan update. The update provides an overview of the progress made at the halfway point of this important four-year plan, which acts as a roadmap to help guide Council’s decision making during the 2023 to 2026 term of office. The plan’s actions fall under the strategic priorities of growth management, community belonging, environmental sustainability and accountability.
The update outlines when the town’s key initiatives are anticipated to be completed and showcases key accomplishments already achieved including:
- Construction of North Park
- Urban Mobility and Transportation Strategy
- Bronte Paid Parking
- Parks, Recreation and Library Master Plan
- Urban Forest Management Plan
- Evaluating and exploring opportunities for district energy (Oakville Hospital District)
