Developing Transportation, Stormwater and Urban Design Solutions for Midtown Oakville

Tuesday, March 18, 2025

Residents are invited to a public meeting on March 27

The Town of Oakville will be holding a Public Information Centre (PIC) at Town Hall on March 27, 2025, to present alternative solutions being considered to address transportation, stormwater and urban design opportunities in Midtown Oakville.

Following Council’s adoption of the Midtown Oakville Official Plan Amendment (OPA), the town is developing a Midtown Implementation Program which includes infrastructure master planning studies for transportation and stormwater. The objective is to create a vibrant, livable and mixed-use community with sustainable infrastructure systems. These studies are aligned with the Midtown OPA and other elements of the implementation program such as public realm, servicing, community planning permit by-law, and more.

A presentation about alternative solutions for transportation, stormwater and urban design will be followed by a series of activities that will allow members of the public to ask questions, share thoughts and engage with the team. The presentation will be recorded and posted online following the meeting.
