Looking for an opportunity to support and promote local arts and culture in your community? Culture days returns to Oakville from September 19 to October 12, 2025, and you’re invited to join the fun! As an official Ontario Culture Days Festival Hub, the Town of Oakville is seeking local artists, creators and community groups to offer free programs and activities to celebrate culture and creativity. You only need to host one free event to be considered, and Oakville residents will be given priority.
Indoor spaces are available at Gleb Abbey Community Centre, Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre, Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts, while outdoor spaces are available at Heritage Square and on Kerr Street.
Programs and activities offered must:
- Offer a community-based arts or cultural activity that is engaging, participatory and inclusive, and designed for large-group participation
- Encourage self-expression, and foster unity and collaboration
- Be offered at no cost to participants or the Town of Oakville
Application information
An application must be submitted to participate in this event and to request town space (indoor or outdoor). To be included in Town of Oakville promotional materials, applications must be submitted by Thursday, May 1, 2025. Requests received after this deadline will be supported on a first-come, first-served basis, as space allows.
