Sixteen Mile Leash-Free Dog Park temporarily closed from April 22, 2024 until summer 2024

The Sixteen Mile Leash-Free Dog Park is moving! As of April 22, 2024, the dog park will close as pre-construction work begins for the volleyball, tennis and pickleball courts as part of the Sixteen Mile Sports Complex expansion. The dog park will reopen this summer at its new location at the north end of the Sixteen Mile community park. 

Please consider visiting one of our nearby dog parks until we’re ready to welcome you to the new location: 

• Memorial Park, 120 Oak Park Boulevard
• Palermo Park, 2345 Dundas Street West
• Glenashton Park, 1051 Glenashton Drive
