Canada Post mail service to and from the Town of Oakville will be interrupted due to the postal strike. For time-sensitive town-related documents, there is a pick up/drop off table available at ServiceOakville in Town Hall.

The exterior of Town Hall has multi-colour capable LED lights that can be used to display the official colours associated with a charitable or non-profit organization or a town event, in order to create awareness of or celebrate an organization or town event.
May 1, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31: Blue and green for Oakville Community Living
May 3, 4, 5: Blue and purple for Huntington's Disease Society of Canada
May 10, 11, 12: Purple for Fibromyalgia Awareness Day
May 13: Yellow and green for Multiple Chemical Sensitivity Awareness Day
May 15: Blue and yellow for The Canadian Society for Mucopolysaccharide and Related Diseases
May 16: Gold for Moose Hide Campaign Day
May 17, 18, 19: Purple for Parphyria Awareness Day
May 20: Teal for Food Allergy Canada
When there are no recognition events scheduled, the default lighting is set to Oakville blue.
