Council and Board meetings held in Council Chamber temporarily moved to virtual format

Effective February 26, 2024, Council and Board meetings held in Council Chamber have been temporarily moved to a virtual format. 

Given a significant increase in attendees at Town Council meetings, where contentious issues/topics were being considered often with the need to have overflow space requirements, the town recently reviewed its Council Chamber safety and security plans and protocols. While planned enhancements are being developed, as well as training with appropriate staff, Council and Board meetings will be held online.

As always, the health and safety of our residents, Council members and staff is a tope priority.

The return to an in-person format is not expected to take long. Members of the public can still register to delegate at Council and committee meetings virtually.

Public information meetings and other meetings will continue as planned.
