The Town of Oakville is aware that some suspicious messages claiming they are from the “City of Oakville” asking for payment of outstanding parking penalties. These messages are not from the Town of Oakville – they are a phishing scam.
If you receive a message like this, do not reply to it or click or tap on any links. Delete the message immediately.
Halton Regional Police Service is aware of this phishing scam. If you have fallen victim to it, please report it to the police non-emergency line at 905-825-4777.
