Online survey open now until November 4
The Town of Oakville invites residents to take a short online survey to share which recreation and culture programs they would like to see offered at the new Sixteen Mile Community Centre, scheduled to open in fall 2025.
When construction of Sixteen Mile Community Centre and Library was announced in 2022, residents were asked to provide input on their preferred program options for the new facility. As the community continues to grow and needs evolve, the town is seeking additional feedback to ensure all voices are heard and that previous public input is accurately reflected.
Complete the survey by November 4 for a chance to win one of three 90-day Fitness Memberships. Winners will be drawn at random.
Project highlights:
- A 65,000+ square foot community centre featuring aquatic facilities, fitness centre, indoor track, gymnasium, and multi-use spaces for diverse programming.
- Lit sports fields, cricket field, skateboard park, bike pump track, basketball, pickleball, tennis, and volleyball courts, splash pad, playground, fieldhouse, and washrooms.
