Provide your feedback on the Stormwater Fee Feasibility Study

Residents, businesses and community groups are encouraged to join the upcoming public engagement opportunities to provide feedback on the town’s Stormwater Fee Feasibility Study. The study explores fair and reliable funding options to pay for the town’s long-term stormwater management needs.

The town is reviewing various funding methods, including the current tax system and a separate, dedicated stormwater fee with the aim to make the structure fair and equitable for taxpayers. 

Public engagement opportunities include:

  • Residential Property Survey and Non-Residential Property Survey are available until October 18, 2024. 
  • A virtual community information session on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Visit the Stormwater Fee Feasibility Study page to register for the Zoom meeting.
  • A Public Information Centre (PIC) at Glen Abbey Community Centre on Wednesday, October 2, 6 to 8 p.m. The PIC will begin with a presentation on the study, followed by a question-and-answer period.
  • A virtual public meeting for commercial, retail and industrial property owners on Wednesday, October 9 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Visit the Stormwater Fee Feasibility Study page to register for the Zoom meeting.
