To improve the customer experience in viewing and managing property taxes, the Town of Oakville is excited to announce the upcoming launch of a new user-friendly online Property Tax Portal in January 2025. This innovative self-serve portal will help residential, commercial and industrial property owners to effortlessly access their property tax information, sign up for e-billing, edit account details, and more — anytime, anywhere.
In January 2025, property owners will receive a notice in the mail with a unique access code and step by step instructions on how to register for the portal. This mailer will arrive separately from the Interim Tax bill which is also expected around the third week of January. For registration support or other inquiries, the ServiceOakville team will be available by phone at 905-845-6601, and by email at service@oakville.ca.
Routine inquiries about property tax dates, payments and processes account for
25 per cent of all inquiries received at ServiceOakville. The new property tax portal will allow the community to log anytime and anywhere.
As part of the new property tax payment software, in-person debit card payments for property taxes at Town Hall will not be available until Spring 2025. Visit the Tax Due Dates and Payment page for alternative payment options.
