Notice of Passing
Council passed zoning by-law 2021-004 under section 34, of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13, as amended on Monday, January 18, 2021.
The purpose and effect of zoning by-law 2021-004 is to modify the provisions related to commercial/residential units; increase the number of townhouse residential units on the east side of Sixth Line between the future William Crawley Way and Carnegie Drive; increase the number of detached residential units along the future William Crawley Way and the future Mosely Gate; and coordinate the zoning with lands for future development to the north within the draft approved plan of subdivision known as EMGO (North Oakville I) Phase 2.
The subject land is located south of Burnhamthorpe Road East, north of Threshing Mill Boulevard, east side of Sixth Line.
Council has fully considered all the written and oral submissions relating to this matter and that those comments have been appropriately addressed.
Any appeals to the proposed zoning by-law amendment must be filed with the Town Clerk at 1225 Trafalgar Road, Oakville, ON, L6H 0H3; must set out the reasons for the appeal; and must be accompanied with a certified cheque or money order in the amount of $1,100.00 payable to the Minister of Finance.
