Munn’s Creek Stabilization and Rehabilitation Study open house on March 12, 2020

Thursday, February 27, 2020

Thursday, March 12, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The Town of Oakville is hosting an open house to present information on the Munn’s Creek Stabilization and Rehabilitation Study. The purpose of the study is to assess the problem of creek erosion and instability and evaluate alternatives to reduce risk to public and private property.

This is the second open house for the study where the town will be presenting information on the results of the evaluation of alternatives and the preliminary preferred alternatives selected for the various erosion sites.

The open house is a drop-in format where staff and the town’s consulting team will be present to discuss the study and answer any questions. Members of the community are invited to share their own ideas during the open house.

If you are attending the open house and have any accessibility needs, please let us know as soon as possible by contacting one of the project representatives or by filling out the accessible online feedback form on oakville.ca.

Please be aware that in the course of undertaking the Munn’s Creek Stabilization and Rehabilitation Study, survey crews have noted a number of illegal private encroachments on town land.

Those homeowners will be contacted in the near future by the Parks and Open Space department to discuss the removal of those encroachments.
