Effective 12:01 a.m. on December 26, 2020, Oakville is part of the Ontario Government’s Provincewide Shutdown for a period of 28 days.
Town Hall will be closed at noon on December 24, re-opening on January 4.
All online services will be available.

Please note that starting December 26, Provincial Shutdown orders come into effect. Indoor sports and recreational facilities, including pools, fitness centres and arenas are closed.
Trafalgar Park Community Centre will remain open as a warming centre throughout the holidays (December 26, 2020 to January 3, 2021 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.). Starting January 4, 2021, it will be open only on days where Halton Region issues a Cold Alert.

The outdoor rink at Trafalgar Park is closed on December 25.

The Oakville Museum at Erchless Estate will be closed December 24 and 25.
Starting December 26, the Museum will be closed as part of the Provincewide Shutdown.
Our Central Operations Depot will be closed December 25, 28 and January 1.
All OPL branches will be closed December 25, 26 and January 1.
OPL Express at St. Luke’s Community Centre will be closed from December 24 to January 1.
Starting December 26, when the Provincewide Shutdown comes into effect, OPL branches will be closed for in-branch programs and services. Library Takeout will be available for contactless holds pickups.

The Fire Prevention and Fire Training Divisions will be closed on December 25 and 26 and January 1.
