The proposed application is to remove the Holding Provision (H28) from Zoning By-law 2014-014, as amended. The “H” Holding Provision was placed on these lands to ensure that:
A Ministry of Environment acknowledged Record of Site Condition, certified by a Qualified Person as defined in Ontario Regulation 153/04, is provided to the satisfaction of the Region of Halton.
Submission of a letter from the Ontario Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport stating that no further archaeological related review is required, to the satisfaction of the Region of Halton.
The subject land is located on the west side of Trafalgar Road, south of Dunn Street.
These lands are also subject to Site Plan Application SP.1613.106/01.
The removal of the “H” Holding Provision is a mechanism to ensure that the above condition is fulfilled prior to the development of the lands in accordance with the approved Zoning, and as such, there are no third party rights of appeal on the removal of the Holding provision.
If you wish to be notified of the decision of the Town of Oakville on the proposed zoning by-law amendment, you must make a written request to the Town Clerk at the Town of Oakville, Clerk’s department, 1225 Trafalgar Road, Oakville, ON L6H 0H3 (Dropbox is located in front of Town Hall) or at TownClerk@oakville.ca
