Councillor Natalia Lishchyna
Ward 6 Town Councillor
Dr. Natalia Lishchyna was first elected to Town Council in a by-election held in July 2015. She served on the Administrative Services and Community Services Committees, Site Plan Committee and Appeals Committee.
She was most recently re-elected as the Ward 6 Town Councillor in the 2022 municipal election.
Councillor Lishchyna, her husband and two children have lived in northeast Oakville since 2003. She has been very involved with the Oakville community and has volunteered with a number of local charitable organization boards and committees.
Councillor Lishchyna is an Assistant Professor at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) and currently supervises chiropractic interns at the community teaching clinic in Bronte. She earned an Honours Bachelor of Science degree from McMaster University, Doctor of Chiropractic degree and Post Graduate Fellowship from CMCC and a Masters of Science degree from Bournemouth University. She has presented her research at conferences in Australia, Europe, South America and South Africa. She was an Association Leader for her profession in the Province of Ontario from 2011-2013 and currently continues to sit on several not-for-profit corporate boards, including serving as Chair of Ukrainian Credit Union Ltd Board of Directors and serving on the Board of Governors of McMaster University.
