About this project
Aspen Forest Park is an existing neighbourhood park in Ward 3. The current park features include two irrigated mini soccer fields, a playground, a parking lot, and a precast utility building.
The Parks and Open Space Department received capital funding to create and install a new splash pad facility. After thoughtful review of multiple park facilities within Ward 3, staff and local councillors have recommended Aspen Forest Park as the preferred location.
The splash pad is in the open space to the northeast of the existing playground, and the estimated size of it is about 300 square meters.
