Scheduled construction work at Iroquois Ridge Community Centre to make improvements to the facility.

About this project

As part of the Town of Oakville’s commitment to maintaining quality, accessible public spaces, Iroquois Ridge Community Centre (IRCC) will undergo vital improvements during its scheduled maintenance period.

Renovations will start January 2, 2025, with anticipated completion by July.

The planned improvements underscore the town’s commitment to providing accessible, high-quality community facilities that meet the evolving needs of residents, ensuring IRCC remains a welcoming and vibrant hub for years to come.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to improve the centre for our community.

Impact on users

Temporary pool closure

During the renovation, the pool will be temporarily closed. Additional swim lessons will be offered at alternate locations, and the White Oaks Pool schedule is being adjusted to include more daytime programming. One outdoor pool will also open earlier in spring 2025 to meet increased demand.

Other IRCC amenities

The IRCC fitness centre, community program rooms, Older Adult Centre and Oakville Public Library’s Iroquois Ridge Branch will remain open during renovations, with minor service disruptions. Entrance points may change to maintain access to amenities during renovations. Directional signage will be posted on-site to guide customers.
