Funding and grants are available from the Town of Oakville to enhance and maintain a positive quality of life for residents and communities. 

The town's Corporate Community Assistance Policy and related procedures outline how the town provides financial assistance through grants, donations, loans, fee assistance or in-kind services to organizations, community groups and individuals.

Community Event Funding

This one-time funding opportunity provides each ward with $3,350 to encourage and support outdoor community events. Funding is still available for Wards 4 and 6!

Recreation Connection Subsidy

Financial assistance is available for Recreation and Culture programs and services based on total net income of all family members and the number of people in your household.

Cultural grants

Cultural grants are funded by the town and administered through the Oakville Arts Council. They're open to arts and cultural not-for-profit organizations contributing to the artistic life in Oakville.

Heritage building

Heritage Grant Program

Assists owners of heritage properties with covering the cost of eligible conservation work. The heritage grant must be matched by a contribution from the property owner. Applications will re-open in January 2025.
