The ever-popular family event is returning this year!

Families are invited to drive through the park, enjoy the festive lights, drop off a gift card or toy donation, and wave or deliver a letter to Santa.

Holiday Lights by the Lake 

Starting on November 29, Coronation Park will be transformed into a spectacular winter destination with the Holiday Lights by the Lake light display. The lights will be on display throughout the winter season through to February.

Oakville Firefighters' Drive-Thru Toy Drive 

In connection with the Oakville Professional Firefighters Association's (OPFFA) 32nd annual holiday toy drive, The Town of Oakville in partnership with the OPFFA will host the drive-thru Toy Drive on Friday, December 13 from 5 to 9 p.m. 

Drive through Coronation Park, enjoy the festive lights, drop off an unwrapped toy donation or gift card, and enjoy special appearances from visual performers, Sparky the Fire Dog, members of the OPFFA, and wave to Santa as you pass by his sleigh! 

Visitor safety and driving instructions

This event is a drive-thru only event, and for safety, pedestrians will not be permitted to walk through the toy donation event. 

Attendees must remain in their vehicles at all times. 

No vehicles will be permitted to stop with the exception to drop off letters to Santa and/or make their toy, food or gift card donation. 

If you do not have access to a vehicle, please email events@oakville.ca by Friday, December 6 by 4 p.m. to request accessible accommodation.

Be sure to check out the map below for driving directions. Event attendees are asked to approach Coronation Park traveling eastbound on Lakeshore Road from Bronte Road or Third Line. 

Please be patient as there may be some traffic delays in the area. Road closures will be in effect on Westminster Drive south of Trenton Road, and local access only on Belvedere Drive and Hamlet Common at Lakeshore Road from 5 to 9 p.m.
