Planning and development application data
As part of the More Homes for Everyone Act, the Municipal Planning Data Reporting – O. Reg. 73/23, requires 29 municipalities, including the Town of Oakville, to submit data related to 14 planning items, on a quarterly or annual basis.
The Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing (MMAH) stated that the reported information will be used to:
- Measure progress towards the Housing Supply Action Plan commitments.
- Assess and monitor trends over time, with respect to planning application timelines.
- Provide the provincial government with data necessary to inform evidence-based decision on housing and planning policy.
The required Q1 planning data was submitted to the MMAH by the June 30, 2023, deadline.
