Town of Oakville receives 2023 Granicus Digital Government Award for operational excellence

The Town of Oakville is among the 2023 Granicus Digital Government Award recipients! The town was recognized for modernizing its sign permit applications process and bringing the service online to make it easier and more accessible for the community. 

The 2023 Granicus Digital Government Awards are handed out annually to recognize excellence in the public sector across North America and government organizations that embrace modern technologies to drive awareness of community programs, improve citizen experiences, transform outdated processes and inspire civic action.   

The town’s online permitting was honoured in the Operational Excellence category, which is given to an organization for their efforts to increase efficiency, save costs, retain employees, and support a modern workforce.

The town and other award recipients will be featured at Granicus’ Digital Transformation Summit on October 25, 2023.
