Sixteen Mile Sports Complex is the Town of Oakville’s new state-of-the-art quad pad arena. This fully-accessible facility features one Olympic-sized ice pad with seating for 1,500 spectators, three NHL-sized ice pads, 20 change rooms, two community rooms, and two shooter pads.
Oakville’s arenas boast a variety of on-ice activities including pre-registered classes and camps, drop-in programs, recreational skating, Oakville Hockey Development programs, the Oakville Recreational Hockey League, and rental opportunities. The Oakville Blades and Skate Oakville (formerly the Oakville Skating Club) proudly call Sixteen Mile Sports Complex home. Their offices are conveniently located within the facility. Puckz Pub operates a full-service restaurant overlooking two of the ice surfaces and Puckz on the Fly, the snack bar on the upper concourse.

New to skating, or just getting back into it, and you don't have skates and/or a helmet to participate? Skates and helmet rentals are available at River Oaks Community Centre, Maple Grove Arena, and Sixteen Mile Sports Complex during all recreational skates.

We are pleased to offer dedicated party ice for your next birthday party or celebration. Skating or hockey - the choice is yours. Get 50 minutes of full rink arena ice plus a one-hour room rental for just $306 (maximum 25 guests). Contact the arenas directly for ice availability.
Or, build your own skating party! Bring your guests to a public skate (when room available) at Glen Abbey Community Centre, Joshua's Creek Arenas, River Oaks Community Centre, or Sixteen Mile Sports Complex.
