The Town of Oakville offers a wide variety of fitness, recreational and cultural activities for residents aged 50+. Recreational opportunities are available at five facilities:

June 19 – Seniors Sizzlers Camp Day
You won’t want to miss the Seniors Sizzlers Camp Day being held at Coronation Park in Oakville from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Camp Day will feature Inuksuk making, drumming circle, heritage crafts, board games and much more.

Bring a lawn chair, sunscreen and your friends. Lunch available to purchase from a BBQ vendor. Don’t miss the closing campfire ceremonies! Everyone invited! Call 905 815-5960 or 905 815-5966.

Membership prices

A membership with Seniors Services allows you to participate in all our programs, drop-in activities and special events (additional fees apply per activity, program or event). Membership prices are as follows:

  • $34 (50-79 years)
  • $17 (80-89 years)
  • $0 (over 90 years)

Where to get a membership

Memberships can be purchased in person 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, at the Oakville Seniors Centre (263 Kerr Street), Sir John Colborne Centre (1565 Old Lakeshore Road West), or Town Hall (1225 Trafalgar Road).

Memberships can also be purchased at the Queen Elizabeth Park Older Adults Centre (2302 Bridge Road) from Monday to Friday between 1-4 p.m. and the Iroquois Ridge Older Adults Centre (1051 Glenashton Road) during specific times. Please call 905-845-6601 ext. 3745 for more details.

Online registration for programs is available through iris. Please ensure your membership is up-to-date before registering.
